Ishpeming, MI - Barbara H. Lemin, age 91, longtime Ishpeming resident, passed away at on Monday, May 13, 2024, at the Eastwood Nursing Center in Negaunee where she had resided for the past seven years.

Barbara was born in Marquette on August 2, 1932, a daughter of the late Magdalen (Williams) and Arthur LaCombe. Barb grew up in Marquette and was a graduate of Graveraet High School, Class of 1950. Barb enjoyed the simple things in life as a homemaker and was a weekly participant in the Tuesday card club.

Barbara is  survived by  a daughter, Patricia (Thomas) Varda of Negaunee, 2 grandchildren - David A. (Kelly) Varda of Negaunee and Michael B. (Michelle) Varda of Gilbert, MN, along with 4 great grandchildren - Nicholas, Nathan, Dawson and Hannah. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lemin in 2009 and a son, Leslie Lemin in 1971.

A private graveside interment service will be held at the Ishpeming Cemetery.

The family wishes to thank the entire staff at the Eastwood Nursing Center for their kind and compassionate care they had shown to Barb during her stay with them.
