Marquette- Audrey Elizabeth Marcotte, age 89 longtime area resident, passed away on January 23, 2021 at UP Health System Marquette.

Audrey was born on October 26, 1931 in Gwinn,MI, daughter of the late Alfred and Jennie (Hill) Micklow. She grew up in Humboldt and attended Ishpeming High School, graduating with the class of 1949. Audrey worked in Administrative Affairs for Cliffs for 26 years, retiring in 1992.

Audrey was a member of the Independent Apostolic Lutheran Church in Negaunee. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, wintering in Green Valley, AZ with her late husband Roger, where she enjoyed hiking, walking, and staying active.

Audrey is survived by her 4 children- Jeff (Regina) Kyllonen of Ishpeming, Janice (Terry) Tuominen of Washburn, WI, John (Amy) Kyllonen of Benicia, CA, Jerry Kyllonen of Negaunee, step children- Vikki (Kevin) Lundin of Skandia, Janet (Danny) Marcotte of Ishpeming, step son-in-law- Dean (Chery) Lucarelli of Barnum, MN, former husband- Leonard Kyllonen, 23 grandchildren- Brett (Alyssa) Kyllonen, Erin (Tony) Barnes, Emily (Charles) McLean, Andrea (Tyler) Johnson, Alison Tuominen, Carly (Micah) Johnson, Eric Kyllonen, Anna Kyllonen, Garrett Kyllonen, Wyatt Kyllonen, Kaitlin Kyllonen, step-grandchildren- Jessica (Dennis) Morris, Jolene (Ryan) Palazzolo, Jodanna (Cameron) Fuess, Jordan (Dawn) Lundin, Renee (Gary) Haney, Kristin (Chris) Hillier, Jared (Amber) Tuominen, Jillian Tuominen, Stephanie (Jake) Schmidt, Brooke (Jeremy) Ollanketo, Dustin (Jen) Lucarelli, Hilary (Joel) Hintsala, 40 great grandchildren the youngest of which is her namesake, Audrey Irene Johnson, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of brothers and sisters in faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 27 years- Roger Marcotte, step-daughter- Jill Lucarelli, sisters- Mildred Micklow, Ruth (Paul) Nykanen, and infant brother Norman.

Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, a private service will be held on Monday January 25, 2021 at the Independent Apostolic Lutheran Church in Negaunee. Interment will take place at Northland Chapel Gardens in Negaunee Township.
