Ishpeming, MI- Audrey R. Blight, age 71, of 774 Palms Ave. Ishpeming, passed away on Tuesday, November 27th, 2018 at her home while in the loving care of her family and UP Home Health and Hospice.

Audrey was born in Ishpeming, Michigan on July 23, 1947, a daughter of the late Helen (Quayle) and Alfred L. Hendra.  She graduated from Ishpeming High School, class of 1965.

Audrey worked at D&N Bank, Republic Bank and Citizens Bank where she retired from as a teller supervisor.  She also worked for Cleveland Cliffs Iron Company.

Audrey enjoyed camping, cooking and baking and was known for making the best Special K bars.  She was devoted to her family, putting their needs before her own.  Audrey was recently honored for her volunteer work at Cherry Creek School where her grandchildren attended.  She was also a wonderful host to her family every year for their Christmas Eve gatherings.

Audrey was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church in Ishpeming where she was active in many of the Women's Circles along with being and usher and greeter.  She was a member of JOBS Daughters and received the Honored Queen Crown.  Audrey was a member of the Blue Notes Drum and Bugle Corp and won a State Championship in 1965.

Audrey is survived by her husband Brad Blight, whom she married on June 7, 1969, two sons: Todd (Lori) Blight and Lori's children- Keegan Weckler and McKenzie Crow, of Sturgeon Bay, WI; & Cory (Wendy) Blight, of Marquette, a brother Al (Marjorie) Hendra of Marquette, grandchildren: Michael, Mikayla, Tyler and Zachary Blight, nieces and nephews: Jeff Hendra, Kristen (Anthony) West, Amy (Greg) Grunewald, Tom (Tracy) Hendra, Steven  Hendra, Holly Hendra, Chad Hendra, Tim Hendra, Adam Hendra, Stacey Hendra, sister in law Nancy Hendra along with numerous great nieces and great nephews.  Audrey was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Thomas Hendra.

Audrey's family will greet relatives and friends from 11:00am-1:00pm on Friday, November 30, 2018 at the Wesley United Methodist Church in Ishpeming where a memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm with Rev. Matthew Osborne to officiating.

A luncheon will follow in the church fellowship hall.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Wesley United Methodist Church Memorial Garden in memory of Audrey.
