Negaunee- Arleen F. Felt, age 91, longtime area resident, passed away on Monday December 13, 2021 at UP Health System Bell, while in the loving care of her daughters and hospital staff.

Arleen was born at home in Negaunee on April 18, 1930, daughter of the late William and Cecil (Kent) Pearce. She attended Negaunee High School graduating with the class of 1948. Following graduation she went on to raise her family with her husband of 57 years William "Spencer" Felt.

Arleen was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Negaunee. She enjoyed baking, knitting, crocheting, quilting, making homemade clothes, and was still making homemade doilies at the age of 91. Arleen had the gift of gab, often turning a 2 minute conversation into a 2 hour conversation. She was quick witted and had an excellent sense of humor. Arleen enjoyed gardening and canning her vegetables. She liked hanging her laundry instead of using her dryer, which she routinely used to hide her purse in instead. Arleen was a woman of faith, always praying for others in need of a prayer.

Arleen is survived by 2 daughters- Bobbi (Terry) Minzey, Beth (Mark) Felt, 5 grandchildren- Scott (Terri) Willey Sr., Jeremy Oja, Devon (Emil) Walsh, Dean (Jeannie) Kaukola, Melissa Kaukola, 11 great grandchildren- Scott (Carolyn Rubin) Willey Jr., Derek Willey, Johnathan Willey, Malinda (Wyatt Makosky) Willey, Justice Walsh, Leo Walsh, Matthew Kinert, Brendon and Tyler Kaukola, Spencer and Colten D'Ambrosia, 1 great great grandson- Scott Willey III, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband- Spencer Felt, daughter- Ruth Oja, and brother William Pearce.

Honoring Arleen's wishes, a private family funeral service will take place. Interment will be in the Negaunee Cemetery.
