Ishpeming/Minneapolis- Dr. Anthony J. "A.J."  Nault, age 37, former Ishpeming and Minneapolis resident, passed away on Thursday February 13, 2020 at the Marquette County Medical Care Facility while in the loving care of his family and nursing home staff.

A.J. was born on April 3, 1982 in Marquette, MI son of Scott Nault and the late Nadine Lakari. He grew up in the Ishpeming area, graduating from Ishpeming High School with the class of 2000. Following graduation A.J. attended Northern Michigan University earning a bachelor's degree before going on to the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology- Argosy University where he graduated with honors in 2013 earning his Doctorate of Psychology. He worked for UPPCO and Duralectra-MA. during his college summers. Following graduation he worked as a Psychologist at Roosevelt Middle School and Stone Arch Psychology before founding Lowry Hill Psychotherapy and Assessment Center, Tangletown  PAC, and Eagen PAC.

A.J. loved music and gardening, enjoyed both motor cycling and biking, rock climbing, bowling, darts, reading, taking hot tubs, and spending time with his family and friends.

A.J. is survived by his father- Scott Nault, 3 siblings- Nicole (Charlie) Hopkins, Jace Nelson, Joseph Nault, maternal grandmother- Darlene (Roy Meni) Lakari, maternal grandfather- John Lakari, aunts and uncles- Mike (Sue) Nault, Tim (Patty) Nault, Maryann (Ken) Farley, Colleen (Paul) Balconi, and Raquel Lakari, special cousin Allexus Balconi along with numerous other cousins, extended family and a special friend and mentor- Dr. Nicholas Griffith. He was preceded in death by his mother- Nadine (Lakari) Nault, paternal grandparents- Albert and Nancy Nault, and cousin- Kelsey Nault.

A.J.'s family will greet relatives and friends to celebrate his life on Wednesday February 19, 2020 from 1:00pm until 3:00pm at the Bjork and Zhulkie Funeral Home in Ishpeming.
