Ishpeming - Annabelle Marie Richards, age 82 of 706 N. Pine St. Ishpeming, passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at the Bell Hospital in Ishpeming.

Annabelle was born March 28, 1928 in Negaunee to Earl & Signe (Antell) Rule. She graduated from Negaunee High School, class of 1947. Annabelle worked at the Huron Mountain Club, H.W. Gossard Company, Bell Memorial Hospital as an LPN prior to owning and operating, Richard's Store on Pine St., Jack's Party Store and later Jack's Tee Pee with her late husband Jack Richards.

Annabelle was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church where she was active with the Quilters group. She enjoyed knitting, spending time at camp where many games of smear were played.

Annabelle is survived by 4 children: Lee Ann (David G.) Racine of Ishpeming, Vickie Austin of Negaunee, Daniel J. Richards of Ishpeming and Paul F. (Casey) Richards of Ishpeming, 8 grandchildren: Angela O'Brien, Brian (Nicole) Richards, Luke Racine, Lee Richards, Louis Ayres, Reese & Rylee Richards and Emily Liquia, 4 great grandchildren: Jacob & Emma O'Brien, Brice & Bella Richards, brother in law Bob Richards, sister in law Hazel Carlyon, 4 special nieces: June Morcom, Pamela Perkins, Julie Maki and JoAnne Chalgren along with several other nieces and nephews. Annabelle was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jack Richards, a brother and sister in law Earl (Clydene "Mickey") Rule Jr. and a niece Earlene Udager.

Funeral services will be held 2:00PM Saturday, November 27, 2010 at the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Ryan officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends at the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home on Saturday from 12:00 noon until the time of service at 2:00PM.

A luncheon will be held at the Wesley United Methodist Church following the funeral service.

Pallbearers will be Annabelle's grandsons and great grandson
