Ishpeming- Angela L. Walsh, age 78, longtime area resident, passed away on Monday January 9, 2023 at Mission Point of Ishpeming while in the loving care of her family, UP Home Health and Hospice, and nursing home staff.

Angela was born in Trenton, NJ on November 21, 1944, daughter of the late George and Elmore Morongell. She grew up in Pompano Beach, FL, before settling in the UP in the mid 1980's.

Angela was a member of the Eagles Club in Manistique, and a proud Vietnam widow. She loved watching soap operas especially the Young and the Restless. Angela enjoyed cooking for people, shopping, taking care of her grandson, and talking on the phone with her relatives. She was loved by many and all, she left her mark on anyone who got to know her, and she will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Angela is survived by her son- Derick Walsh, grandson- Andre Walsh, 5 siblings in the Pompano Beach and Fort Lauderdale region, and her distant family in the Quebec region. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband- Allan Walsh who was killed in action in 1968 in Vietnam, and longtime companion- Andre Ducharme.

Following Angela's wishes, cremation will take place with no public services.
