North Lake – Angela F. Bussone, age 94, of 965 Patriot Dr., North Lake Loc., passed away on Tuesday March 30, 2010 at the Marquette Co. Medical Care Facility in Ishpeming where she had resided for the past month.


Angela was born June 21, 1915 in Maniago, Italy the daughter of Desiderio and Catlerina (Marcolina) Rovedo. Angela moved to North Lake at age 11, and resided there since. She worked at the Bell Memorial Hospital in Ishpeming for several years, retiring in 1978.


Angela was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church and a member of the former St. Pius X Catholic Church where she had been active in the Altar Society. She most enjoyed time spent at camp on the Dead River Basin during the summer months. Angela also enjoyed doing ceramics, gardening, playing cards, especially at the Ishpeming Senior Center with her late husband David, and bowling in her earlier years. Most importantly, Angela treasured her time spent with family.


Survivors include four children – Joseph (Sharon) Bussone of Almont, Paul (Elaine) Bussone of Battlement Mesa, CO, Larry (Mary) Bussone of Ishpeming, and Bruce (Debbie) Bussone of Ishpeming, a sister Tina Derocha of Ishpeming, 15 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband David Bussone in 2006, a daughter Susan Coluccio, sisters – Lydia Jandron and Helen Wallberg, and brothers - Dante and Daniel Rovedo.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am on Wednesday March 31, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ishpeming with the Rev. Fr. James Challancin to officiate. Interment will take place at the Negaunee Cemetery.


The family will greet relatives and friends from 9:30am until 10:30am on Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church.


Pallbearers will be Angela's grandchildren.
