Negaunee - Amber Lyn LaMere, age 35, of 118 E. Clark St. Negaunee, passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Spectrum Health Blodgett Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI where she had been airlifted to a day prior.

Amber was born in St. Louis Park, MN on July 12, 1984, a daughter of Sandi (Junak) and Bob Kennedy.  She grew up in Ishpeming and was a graduate of the Ishpeming High School, Class of 2002 and then attended NMU. Amber enjoyed music, art, reading and camping.

Survivors include her husband of 10 years, Josh LaMere of Negaunee; daughter, Kaylen Mae LaMere of Negaunee; her parents - Sandi (Bill) Phillips of Ishpeming and Bob (Carla) Kennedy of Ishpeming; her in-laws - Terry and Kathie LaMere of Ishpeming, brothers - AJ Kennedy of Ishpeming, Scott Phillips of Ashville, NC and Anthony Pruett of Brooklyn, NY; sisters Lyndsi Phillips and Vanessa Pruett both of Marquette; brother-in-law Justin (Amy) LaMere of Ishpeming; niece Livi and nephews Rhett, Jacob and Landon, And a very special lady, Grandma Bonnie Bray, whom Amber loved very much, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by Jacob Pruett and close friend Jessica Kendall.

A Celebration of Amber's Life will be held at the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home on Saturday, February 8, 2020 with family greeting relatives and friends from 10:00 - 11:00am and a time for sharing of memories to be held at 11:00am.
