Negaunee Twp, MI- Allen G. "Al" Spike, age 80, of Negaunee Township, passed away on Friday April 15, 2022, at UP Health System Marquette.

Allen was born in Negaunee, MI on June 25, 1941, a son of the late Bruce and Marie (Leanes) Spike. He graduated from Negaunee High School and received a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Florida State University.

Al worked for Sunkist in Florida as a chemical engineer. After returning to the Upper Peninsula, Al owned and operated House of Burgers and then Round the Clock Mini Mart in Ishpeming for many years.

Al was a long-time care giver of his sister Sharon, whom he is survived by along with close family friends and caregivers; Brad Loven & Ashley Tasson, along with his adopted grandchildren Kiara and Cameron.

Services for Al will be announced at a later date.
