Ft. Atkinson, WI - Aili Nankervis, age 91, of Fort Atkinson, WI and formerly of Ishpeming Township passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2019 at Rainbow Hospice Inpatient center.

Aili was born in Negaunee, MI to Elsa & Andrew Saari.  She was a graduate of the Negaunee high school. She married Donald Nankervis June 14, 1947 and he preceded her in death on Feb. 6, 2017.  Aili was a member of and had been a secretary at Bethel Lutheran Church. She was also an active member of the Rebeccas and the Ishpeming VFW Auxiliary, along with being a piano accompanist for many social events.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Edwin & Arne Saari, sister Ellen Vienola and great-grandson Dyllon Baker.

Survivors include her son Robert Nankervis of Fort Atkinson, WI, daughter Christine (Tom) Donnelly of Jefferson WI, grandson Troy (Masha) Donnelly of Carmel, IN, granddaughter Tami Baker of Janesville, WI, sister-in-law Doreen (Ruffy) Johnson of Neqaunee, 3 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday Oct. 26, 2019 at 11am in the Bethel Lutheran Church with the Rev. Lauri O. Maki to officiate. A light luncheon will follow the services in the church hall. Interment will take place at the Ishpeming Cemetery.
