Ishpeming – Abbigail Jane Merrills, 10½ month old daughter of Rebecca Ricketts and Brad Merrills went to be an angel of the Lord's on Saturday April 21, 2012.


Abbigail was born June 2, 2011 at the Bell Hospital in Ishpeming and is survived by her parents Rebecca Ricketts and Brad Merrills of Ishpeming, a brother Brayden Ricketts, sisters – Victoria Ricketts and Allison Humphries, maternal grandmother Vicky Ricketts of Ishpeming, paternal grandparents Christine Harlock of Ishpeming and Scott Merrills of Ishpeming, maternal great grandmother Mary Murray of Michigamme, paternal great grandfather Francis "Butch" Keni of Gwinn, paternal great great grandmother Mary Harlock of Iowa, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.


The family will greet relatives and friends from 10am – 11am on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Ishpeming. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Thursday at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Greg Heikkila to officiate. Interment will take place at the Ishpeming Cemetery.
