Mount Pleasant- Molly N. Sheehan, age 21 longtime Iron River, MI resident, passed away on November 23, 2018 near Grand Rapids, MI as the result of a motor vehicle accident on her way back to school at Central Michigan University.

Molly was born in Libertyville, IL on November 5, 1997 to Michael Sheehan and Jill (Anderson) Ollila. Molly grew up in Iron River, MI where she attended West Iron County High School before going on to study at CMU. While at West Iron County she was actively involved in the business club and won a state wide award through the American Association of University Women. Most recently Molly was studying family counseling with a minor in writing and broadcasting at Central Michigan where her dream was to eventually publish her own book.

Molly enjoyed reading, was actively involved in the improv group at CMU, and was a big movie buff.

Molly is survived by her parents Michael Sheehan, Jill (Mick) Ollila, maternal grandparents- Bruce and Patricia Anderson, Kay and Reuben Ollila, step sister- Aili Ollila, along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents- George and Dorris Sheehan, and her step father Girard Orvis.

Following Molly's wishes, private family services will be held at a later date.
