Negaunee- Donna L. Hilborn, age 59 of 114 S. Brown Ave Negaunee, passed away Friday September 14, 2018 at her home while in the loving care of her family and Lake Superior Life Care and Hospice.

Donna was born January 30, 1959 in Detroit, MI. She graduated from Saguaro High School in Scottsdale, AZ and received her certification as a surgical technician. Donna worked as various hospitals and locally worked at the Palmer Nursing Center.

Donna loved animals, especially her many dogs she had throughout her life. She enjoyed gardening, spending time at camp and sending greeting cards with stickers in them to family and friends, and she was an avid Green Bay Packer fan.

Donna is survived by her husband Ronald Hilborn of Negaunee, her mother Martha Nelson of Ishpeming, 3 children; Kim (Jeremy) Palo, Derek Carlson, and Amy Long all of Ishpeming, a sister Lynn Cooper of Zion, IL, 5 grandchildren: Jade Nelson, Aiden Palo, Delilah McCaslin, Daizee Hay and Della Hay, along with nieces, nephews and cousins. Donna was preceded in death by her father Roland Nelson.

Donna's family will greet relatives and friends from 3:00pm to 4:00pm on Wednesday September 19, 2018 at the Cross Bridge Church 119 N. 3 ^rd St. Ishpeming where a memorial service will be held at 4:00pm with Pastor Kevin McIlhany officiating.
